Eternal University, established in 2008 under the aegis of The Kalgidhar Trust, is a private multi-faculty university located in Baru Sahib (the “Valley of Divine Peace”), Sirmour district, Himachal Pradesh. The institution was founded with a vision inspired by the spiritual ideals of Sant Attar Singh Ji, aiming to provide modern scientific and professional education integrated with ethical, moral and spiritual values.The university comprises several constituent colleges across disciplines including basic sciences, agriculture, nursing, public health, engineering & technology, arts, commerce, etc.Spread over a large rural campus, Eternal University emphasises holistic development, character building, social responsibility, research, community outreach, and sustainable practices (e.g. agricultural practices, vermicompost units for organic waste conversion) — especially benefiting the surrounding rural communities.The university’s educational approach blends academic rigor, professional training, and spiritual — moral upbringing, aiming to create socially conscious, professionally competent and ethically grounded graduates — often referred to as “Ambassadors of Peace.”
